Initially the residents of H5 J4 & G9 @ JBC
were thinking of having a potluck dinner
as our 1st-time-oversea deepavali celebration
But well as you know
I actually stay with ALL the indian girls in P105 (n=2)
so as the actual day approaches
more & more people called up and asked
"eh how you all celebrate deepavali? got dinner ah?"
and we were thinking
Yeah why not let them join us?
the more people the merrier, right?
so we told those people
"ya we'll have potluck loh, you guys prepare sth and come lah"
.......
.......
in the end we kinda confirmed that 30++ people are coming
not including home students at that point
Quite ok number for a party
but not really ok for a party @ one of the JBC shared living room
(you should know how BIG is it...)
thus we didnt really invite people further
and didnt inform more people
SO,
I, on behalf of H5,
sincerely apologize to those who are not invited to the party
we really wanted to make it a grand party
yet restricted by the space we have
hopefully you guys can understand our difficulties
REALLY SORRY !!!
